You forgot the blue text.
not in the least.
I am probably more sensitive to it right now becasue, you know what?
-I thought the ending of Mass Effect 3 was fine
-I enjoyed the hell out of Diablo III, and the online requirement didn't bother me in the least
-I have no qualms purchasing digital copies of games that I could have purchased in physical format for the same machine
-On disc DLC strikes me as smart business, not irresponsible customer/fan rape
I could go on, but I am increasingly irritated by the people insisting the industry is stagnant, doomed, declining or that games are getting worse, companies are being unreasonably greedy, fans should have more input in game development, etc. I am not saying no critiques can/should be made or that there is no merit to any part of any of these arguments, but the superficial/facile extra-whiny knee-jerk character of much of online gamer discourse is extremely off-putting and abrasive.
