Sonic Ds games help me please!

As anyone here knows that has read any of my posts Im a huge Sega and sonic fan. I really am also much more forgiving then most sonic fan's I loved most recent sonic game's including unleashed, sonic 4, although I could not really grasp sonic 06. I really wanted to like that game but my god that game has issues and really pissed me off.

Anyways I have a 3ds and have not really jumped in to the handheld titles. On the other hand I have played sonic generation 3ds which I rather enjoyed the variation of levels from the 360 version. My question to everyone is which sonic Ds game's would you suggest?

I have seen a bunch of them and been considering getting colors Ds version (I already have the wii one) Which titles would you suggest? I want some good classic sonic fun with fast speed and cool levels.

Well I've only played a demo of Colours, but its on my wish list. The level I played seemed pretty cool, loads of big loops and lots of speed, and generally seemed well laid out and designed. Definitely reminded me of the older games.

Sonic Rush, the original Sonic game for the DS, was pretty awesome. I did not enjoy Rush Adventure or Colors nearly so much.

A little lower on the technological level, you have Sonic Advance for the GBA. That is probably one of the best Sonic games ever made, bar none.

Sonic Rush is a pretty tough game that goes a lot faster than classic Sonic, but it's also an awesome game with a phenomenal soundtrack by the guy who did most of the music for Jet Set Radio.

Sonic Chronicles is a game with some flaws, but it's also generally a good time if you like RPGs. I wish there was a sequel.

I played Sonic Rush for DS, and I can't recommend it enough. Maybe my favorite portable Sonic title.

I can't stand any of them. They're all hold-right for 3 minutes then boss battle. Totally not what Sonic is about.

That said, the music in Sonic Rush is great.

The only one I have played is Sonic Rush and I found that pretty fun. Like Nemoide said, it's faster than classic Sonic, but it's fairly good. Although the above comment is true though lol. There are a lot of really harsh death pits.

Sonic Rush was my favorite DS game for years! Sooo much fun and the soundtrack is really catchy. Definitely check it out!

My exact opinion. Mediocre game, awesome soundtrack.
