What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I recently downloaded Hard Candy. If you're into just plain creepy movies, I recommend it. It's pretty damn good.

Starchaser: The Legend of Orin
If you like 80s animated movies like Heavy Metal and Fire & Ice, then you'll LOVE this movie. I really enjoyed it. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with my love for all things 80s, but this was one of the better ones from then, for sure, if you're into this sort of thing. And the villain looks a LOT like The Magus from Marvel Comics' Warlock and Infinity War:

Ip Man - Awesome movie! It's been too long since I've seen a good martial arts movie and I think it's time I made an effort to rectify that by adding some to my Netflix queue. I always enjoy movies with Donnie Yen. The guy's awesome.

Haywire - It's like Hanna, but with Gina Carano, a more convoluted plot, better action sequences, and some nice bits of humor. Actually, the realistic, non-Hollywood approach to the movie's set pieces is what makes the movie stand out, and of course you've got some MMA influence in the fights.

Iron Man 2 - A bit boring in the beginning, but eventually ends up being a better movie than the first one overall, with some nice groundwork laid for the Avengers movie, which I still haven't seen. It seems a bit plot heavy early on, but it all comes together nicely by the end.

Currently in the midst of watching Paul with Simon Peg and Nick Frost

So I'm in the midst of watching IP Man 2 and I have a question for those of you who've seen it. Does anyone think that

Interesting... most people I know (myself included) think it's a good sized step down from the first.Gamerforlife wrote: Iron Man 2 - A bit boring in the beginning, but eventually ends up being a better movie than the first one overall, with some nice groundwork laid for the Avengers movie, which I still haven't seen. Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Well, it's easier to find fault in IM 2. It tries to do a bit too much I think while the first movie is a good example of "less is more." Still, I found that it had a lot of what I liked about the first one and more of it, enough to make me forget about the parts that didn't work. But like Burningdoom said, whether one views it as better or worse than the first, it's still a good movieAppleQueso wrote:Interesting... most people I know (myself included) think it's a good sized step down from the first.Gamerforlife wrote: Iron Man 2 - A bit boring in the beginning, but eventually ends up being a better movie than the first one overall, with some nice groundwork laid for the Avengers movie, which I still haven't seen.
