Ah the console that keeps on giving lol! Its to be expected that rez would work with the mouse. Confidential is also compatible and that's another fine Sega product ;)

You can also use the keyboard and mouse for any of the non-official released fps ports like Half Life and Blue Shift; as well as some of the home brew ports like Quake 1. I'm pretty sure just about every FPS on Dreamcast supports the mouse and keyboard, but I do agree that Typing Of The Dead is the number one reason to have the keyboard.

I played a home brew port of Quake on the Saturn awhile ago that was pretty limited. It only supported the DC controller. I heard there's an enhanced version floating around but I can't find it. It would be pretty friggin' cool to play KB&M Quake on the Dreamcast.

I have a mouse in my B/S/T thread if anyone wants it. I don't give 3 craps about the DC games that use KB+mouse.

Yeah, a KB/M combo is the only real way to play the Dreamcast version of Quake III. The default controller setup for that game is a nightmare, in my opinion. Speaking of which, I find the controls in the DC version of Unreal Tournament to be far superior, and it is a lot more fun using a controller in that game.
