Happy birthday how did you do in the street fighter matches?flex wood wrote:Frown been having a horrible week everyone except my mom and gf forgot my bday. I'm broke since I loaned my dad the last of my money and probably won't see it for about two weeks. To it all off my gf is all super hormonal.
Smile I had a great night playing street fighter 4 with sev, mj, ds and stark.
And that collection thread made me laugh so hard.
The smile made me forget about all the frowns and not care.

Lemme guess, the dude that's been spouting off about his interplanetary Saturn collection has one of these

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Ticked: Long story kinda, but basically a friend of mine at work got written up for "not being finished by 7am." He gets off at 8am. If they want him done by 7am, why is he scheduled 11-8? If they want maintenance in general to be done cleaning by 7am, why are they talking about moving EVERYBODY on maintenance to the 11-8 slot?
The manager in question brings up the "7am" thing every once in a rare while when she's in a bad mood, and she pretty much only uses it to write this guy up. I work the same shift as him, doing the same thing, and she never bothers me about it when I get done by 8, so it's pretty obvious what's going on here.
She's an extremely unpopular manager, the kind who talks to everyone like they're children and writes people up all the time for very vague and/or petty things.

Smile: Had a great last night with both new and old friends. This morning was full of yard work, but it's nice to have it finished for Memorial Day weekend. Speaking of, having friends over later this afternoon for croquet, plus brews and chews. Not sure if I'll grill out tonight or tomorrow...maybe both? Just seems odd to have a bunch of people over for veggie stir-fry.
If weather permits, we'll also fire up the fire pit and light a few cigars. I'd like to go ahead and get my party supplies now so I can set up and begin to relax, but stupid blue laws prevent me from doing just that.
Frown: Stupid blue laws. I don't want to start drinking now, I just want to get my errands done.
