Ice levels can go to hell, and I'll also second cheating AI and escort missions.

I hate games that require lots of collecting to complete, my OCD just won't leave it alone.

When I found out that there was 1 card that I could not get in FF9 because I walked past it I was furious. I had 100% the whole of the rest of the game without a guide and the entire experience was ruined because of one lousy stinking card. Which leads me to..

One time collections/scans/photos and points of no return in general

That about sums it up for me. Most other things that annoy me I can and do just avoid, but not so with co-op centric games (Left 4 Dead) and competitive ones (fighters).

I wish every game's tutorial was just a static image of the controller and labels as to what each button does.

I consider watching a green bar fill a game in itself actually.

DLC and DRM
Being forced to play through tutorials and being treated like a child by the game
Being forced to watch boring and poorly written cutscenes in action/FPS games every 5 minutes

All of these have become increasingly common during the current console generation

Cartridges without top labels.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Games with save features not letting you save when/where you like...
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)
