Do I have the greatest video game collection here?
Re: Do I have the greatest video game collection here?
I think in terms of sheer quantity there may be one or two people who have me beat here as posted in the link earlier from that Ninja guy.
In terms of the quality though and the number of games in my collection that are actually worthwhile I think I probably still have the best collection.

I honestly cannot tell if this is an example of us feeding the troll or if this guy is actually serious.Busomjack wrote:I think in terms of sheer quantity there may be one or two people who have me beat here as posted in the link earlier from that Ninja guy.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Hmm, I will admit that you do have a better Sega Saturn collection than I do. I for one would love to get my hands on more games from Working Designs. Been a fan of them since the days of the Sega-CD.cookie monster wrote:

How on earth do you measure collection "greatness" anyway?

Prepare to possibly have your mind blown. People here collect in all sorts of ways. Everything from collecting just what interests them, to collecting every game for a console, to collecting arcade stuff.Busomjack wrote:I think in terms of sheer quantity there may be one or two people who have me beat here as posted in the link earlier from that Ninja guy.

The important thing is that one enjoys his/her collection and collecting for it.

Based on the value of the games in a collection obviously.AppleQueso wrote:How on earth do you measure collection "greatness" anyway?
If somebody has 10 thousand games but they're all burnt duplicates then that would still be a worthless collection.
My collection I find to be particularly prestigious.

Uh...
I don't think anyone here flaunts CD-R dupes as a "collection".
Pretty much all of us have actual retail discs/carts.
Speaking of... no carts? (Outside of those Game Boy games, but those don't really count.) How can you have the "greatest video game collection" without any carts?
