I was under the impression that it was where you were located that mattered not the version. And I know I've played with people from all other regions. Might be worth a try just to check.

Huh... I thought Demon's servers were region specific, I could be wrong though. What'd you need anyway?

I'm not even sure anymore but I would only need any of the forged weapons you got. I don't have my game right now so I'm not sure where I'm at as far what I need.

Is there a reason why this game doesn't have a pause button?

Because you can be invaded at any time and it would break the flow of the game. The best thing to do is quit to the menu since you load up right where you quit. Even if you're in soul form just setting the controller down is a bad idea I can't count the times I came back to watch my guy hard attacking himself off a cliff.

To put it another way: if you're ever comfortable in Demon's Souls, either a) something is wrong or b) you have mastered your surroundings.

I haven't played the game in almost a year but I have a feeling that I still know the layout to every level and where all the good loot is. On second thought I know I don't know the layout to the prison well enough.

Am I the only one that tries to go through the prison without killing the prisoners that don't attack and try to get them to follow me through the whole level? I love those guys. They remind me of the tard in the goonies.

Even with the extended server time, I think I might be too late to get into the online portion of this game.

Otherwise, how is it? Is it a PS3 must have, or just kind of meh?

Did you read what I just wrote? It absolutely justified my purchase of a PS3, but if you're wary maybe you should just stick with Dark Souls. For the ten or so dollars it goes for, Demon's Souls is totally worth it even without online. The online bit is what Demon's Souls does differently and what makes it such a landmark game, but it's not the only thing it nails.
