I wasn't thinking so much that BS, but more of a classic game company slapping their brand on a terrible or gimmicky game just so it would sell.

Nintendo's jumping on the band wagon just like with Konami and Majesco.

MotionPlus = WiiFix

As for Wii Music, it reminds me a line from one of my fave Coen Brothers movies: "You know, for kids!"

You know what? If Nintendo wants to reach out to old folks and karaoke lovers, more power to them. It just seems like they are TOO focused on that now. Don't forget the rest of us Nintendo. Having said that though, the gaming industry will never be viewed the same way as other forms of entertainment if it keeps catering to the hardcore. In fact, much of what's wrong with the gaming industry I attribute to so-called "hardcore" gamers. In their own way, hardcore gamers are just as much a bane to the industry as the so called casual crowd, but that's a subject for another day.

I don't think this video is quite as much of an embarrassment as you guys are making it out to be though. There's a certain crowd that will eat this up. Karaoke fans who happen to like games. What I saw in that video is no more ridiculous than what you see at most karaoke bars. I sure as hell wouldn't buy it though

A guy was holding his WiiMote up by his mouth and pressing the D-Pad.

Well I can't argue with that.

It's Nintendo, they've always been kind of weird. They operate on a logic that makes sense to no one but the people within the company itself. Not much they do surprises me that much anymore

I thought that Nintendo would jump on the Guitar Hero/Air Guitar bandwagon, but I didn't think it would be anything this bad.
