Light-up Ryu Statue: Standing 8 inches tall, the highly detailed Ryu statue features the iconic character in mid- Shoryuken with flames that light up from below.GameMasterGuy wrote:I wonder how tall that statue is... 1'?

Great deal if you don't already own all the games. Still an okay deal if you do.

Great $150 for a statue and bluray documentary
I own all the games and media already :/

Me too, but the artbook and packaging look nice also, there is a LOT of video included on those discs (not just a documentary), and an 11 disc soundtrack is pretty sweet for those of us who like CDs.Bradtemple87 wrote:Great $150 for a statue and bluray documentary

To buy separately?
All 4 games would run you $60 used discs + network purchases if you were lucky. You'd be spending closer to $85-$90 new.
A quick glance at Amazon suggests that you'd probably be looking at $5-$15 per disc to pick up bits and pieces of the SF soundtracks. 11 discs = $50, at minimum.
The 20th Anniversary artbook = roughly $35. Same with the SFIV artbook. Even if this one is only worth $20...
You have to figure the 2 Disc Blu-Ray is worth at least $20 given the amount of content...
That all adds up to about $150 by itself...
+ a statue, belt, packaging?
I think the value is easily there.

Re: Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection
I'm a pretty damn big fan of the series, but having all the games already I don't find the extras enough to make me want to drop $150.
Re: Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection
Fair enough, but I think that an argument of "the value isn't there" is hard to substantiate.noiseredux wrote:I'm a pretty damn big fan of the series, but having all the games already I don't find the extras enough to make me want to drop $150.
Besides, I'll now have hard copies of SF3 and SF2 to play on my PS3 when I am an old(er) man and neither Sony nor their online PSN servers still exist.

nevermind on that last point, guess that it's just codesdsheinem wrote:Fair enough, but I think that an argument of "the value isn't there" is hard to substantiate.noiseredux wrote:I'm a pretty damn big fan of the series, but having all the games already I don't find the extras enough to make me want to drop $150.

Re: Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection
oh yeah I wasn't debating the value... if I didn't own all those games I'd jump on it. And yeah, I would have been more interested if they were hardcopies of those DLC games.

You could sell your SFxT copy and bring that down to $100.noiseredux wrote:I'm a pretty damn big fan of the series, but having all the games already I don't find the extras enough to make me want to drop $150.
