Can anyone help me out with this Genesis question.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Can anyone help me out with this Genesis question.

Post by fuctfuct »

For $15CAD I just got a near mint Genesis 2 in box with papers. Came with 1x SEGA 3 button and 2x SEGA 6 button controllers. The box says it came with that 6 pak game (which it did not come with). I want to complete the package so my question is does anyone know if the game that came with this package came with its box? or just the cart and manual.

Hopefully someone here will know hehe :P

Thanks

I have the cart I'll sell you for cheap, but it appears it came with a box.

Not sure if the pack-in came with it though, mine has "not for resale" on the cart.

Yes i know the game came with the box if you went and bought just the game in the 90's.

This genesis i just got originally came with the game as a bundle (inside the Genesis box). I want to know if when you got home and opened up your new Genesis if you would find the game in its own box or just the cart and manual (Like Super Nintendo).

To the post above .. i'm not sure what your trying to say with that eBay link

It's a box image. you're post was a little vauge so I wasn't sure if you new about the box or not. Now that I re-read your question, i get what you're saying.

Anyway, just trying to help...will stop now.

I suggest you put everything back in foam/plastic encasing and see how much room you have left. More room, must have had a box, little room, no box.

When I got my Sega Genesis, way back in the day, it was the Sonic 2 bundle and it came with the box and manual for Sonic 2. I'm assuming Sega would do the same for the rest of their bundles, but it's a guess on my part.

There is defiantly enough space for a box but there are also two "holders" in the cardboard that fit genesis carts perfectly. I also noticed a few systems on eBay that come with the game that was originally included and they have boxes ... *shrugs* hehe :D
