I appreciate your input, but with all due respect you have no idea what you're talking about.

Whoa, sabrage, MrHealthy, relax. Sabrage, if you don't feel inclined to join in the summer challenge, that is fine. It is not a requirement of the community but something for fun started by a member. It it isn't right for you, no problem. We still have plenty of content in the forum and on the site. Sit back, have fun, and enjoy your games. That is what we are all here to do.

Healthy, if Sabrage doesn't feel interested in the Summer Challenge, no biggie. He just doesn't play games that way.

I'm not offended, just not comfortable with the level of exposure and intimacy that line of conversation bears.

Sure, and it is past. We will just move on past it.

I spent more time with Donkey Kong Country 3. I have about 13% completed, having just finished tue first area with all of the bonus coins and DK coins. I like the game so far. It feels like a good bit was added on DKC2, though the plot...well, I couldn't tell you much about it beyond babysitting.

I've said it elsewhere many times before, but it bears repeating. Install the Stalker Complete mod. :)

Is it funny one of my biggest reasons for wanting to buy a new PC is to just play this? ... lol.

Vanilla was still awesome, but yeah I can't wait to replay it this way. The sequels didn't run very well for me either, so I'll have to play those when I upgrade as well.

Red Steel 2 is finally finished, which means I can get stuck into another game on my list other than Oracles. I was thinking I might start with Monster World IV, as I've been waiting a long time for it to come out!

I've been debating whether or not to participate this year, considering the way my time has been eaten up lately. But I figured I'd go ahead and make a list and see how it goes.

Knights of the Old Republic - PC
Half-life - PC
Fallout - PC
Heretic - PC
Tomb Raider Chronicles - DC
Ecco the Dolphin Defender of the Future - DC
Rayman 2 - DC
Silent Hill 2 - PS2
Metal Gear Solid 3 - PS2
Xenogears - PS1

I'm a bit unsure about my desire to play Xenogears right now, but I think its a solid list overall. I have to admit though that I surprised myself by going with more PC games than anything else.

Not at all. I replayed Far Cry several times after PC upgrades to see how much prettier I could make it. Thankfully the enemies didn't get even better at spying me through 1 mile of foliage than they already were.
