Metal Militia's gameroom (Pic Heavy)

Post by Metal Militia »

Here is my gameroom/basement. I've been playing video games ever since I got my Sega Genesis back in 1995 when I was 7, but began to become serious about collecting about 2009. Hope you enjoy the pics of my gaming rig. (Also I know I need to remove some of the price stickers off some of my games :lol: )

Four TV's are better than one :wink:

Image

Here I have a 19' Samsung LCD and connected to this TV is a Jaguar/CD, CDX, Saturn, SNES, NES, and TG-16

Image

Here is an entertainment center with just loads of shit inside including loose games, CD's, VHS, gaming accessories, and other random shit.

Image

Here is where the modern games get played on my 46' LCD. Connected to this are my 360 Elite, black dreamcast, PS3, and Wii.

Image

Here is the TV I brought back from school with me and had no idea where to put it so I just put it here. Connected to this TV is my Sega Master System II and my JVC X'eye

Image

Another TV was hiding just around the corner. Connected to this TV is my Neo Geo AES, Neo Geo CD, PC-FX, PC Engine Duo-R, Consolized Neo Geo MVS, and an FM Towns Marty. Also a Vectrex in the top left corner. :D

Behold the shelves of games. Each shelf has Legend of Zelda action figures because I'm a fucking Zelda nerd. :lol:

Cool~
I am having trouble putting together exactly how this layout works though; like how are the couches positioned in the room(s?) with the TVs etc.
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

Great room. Looks like you've got the basement all to yourself. And I agree, four TV's are better than one. :)

That's a nice collection of stuff you got. Other than a few dupes and whatnot, I don't see any 'filler' type titles either.

Setup is nuts though, 4 tvs? Tell me you plan to get one more TV and a bunch of gamecubes to do a FSA/Pac-Man VS party someday.

@ D.D.D

Thanks for the responses. My basement is a big circle. Once you come down stairs and take a left you see the couches. Across from the couches is the entertainment center and my 46'LCD. The shelf of games is in the back of the basement and the TV with the Neo Geo system is across the shelf with my current gen games. Towards the left of the current gen shelf is the other side of the basement which is tile and has a table, an elliptical and weight bench. So if you were to take a right when you came down stairs you would have been on the tile side. Hope this helps.

@S1mple

Its actually 5 TV's, the one with the Neo Geo's is around the coroner so you couldn't see it in the first picture. :mrgreen:

@AppleQueso

Yeah when you buy games in lots at times, you are eventually going to get some double. Never hurts to have backups.

I sometime have retro game nights with some friends where we all just plug in a system and play whatever we want. Many of the popular games include Saturn Bomberman, Super Smash Bro's (N64), Mario Party 2, and Sunset Rider's for the SNES.

I'd murder for that much basement space. I'm sharing my basement with a washing machine/dryer and a craft corner. Thankfully, that area is isolated from the gaming trove.

That looks great man. I love Zelda, and despite my dislike of OOT (sue me), I can be nothing but jealous of your collection of figures. I like the Zant one, and there is one or two Link ones that look great. But, I can't ever afford them when I find them!

And your collection of games. Oh my gawwww!
