Anyone willing to take a look at my Nomad with new LCD?

Post by tiptopjames »

basically i'm having the EXACT same issues as this thread

http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 25&t=34807

synopsis: screen flickers white on occasion, rolling diagonal lines on screen.

modded by themadhacker on benheck forums, everyone else seems super pleased so maybe they don't have this issue? but the other thread leads me to believe it's a result of how the wires are arranged.
I always have a ton of things that are not in my thread. Check my retro shops facebook page at facebook.com/thrillhousegames for pics of new items, I'm always happy to work a deal!

yeah, i could give it a shot. i'm pretty sure that's a grounding issue. the video wire may not be shielded well enough, i think if i run it as a twisted pair (one wire is video, the other is grounded at both ends) it would help. i know it fixes reliability issues for clock wiring in some modchips because it reduces interference.
need console mods or repairs? check my thread here:
