Haha, down fellas. Noise, I just removed the last hurdle for playing Shadow of the Colossus, namely cleaning my PS2 lens. It's getting played some time this Summer, don't you worry. I don't really have an order chosen for what title I'm going to play when though, beyond knowing that I don't want to do Alpha 3 and Tech Romancer at the same time. Since I don't want to play any of my SNES games at the same time, it will likely be played soon. Once I beat Alpha 3, I will consider what I switch to next.

o.pwuaioc, I'm not sure yet. I may beat DKC3 and then go to Breath of Fire. I have four SNES games on my list, so I don't really want to play them simultaneously. Depending on how long DKC3 takes, I might start some time in June. Sound good?

I didn't have any specific plans yet. I have FFV to play too with sevin0seven, and I'm not sure when he was going to start that one up. I'm not quite sure I want to play two SNES RPGs concurrently!

I'm not really feeling this concept anymore. The "marathon games" session thing didn't work when I tried it 6 months ago and it's not exactly working now. Still hoping to finish Demon's Souls, but as for the rest of the list I could take it or leave it.

That's cool chief. Go ahead and play with Sevin. I have plenty of other games to play!

Well, I'll see when he's up for it. In the meantime, I think I'm going to move from Sonic 8-bit to Sonic 128-bith with Sonic Adventure broken up with Ninja Gaiden runs. :x

So don't do marathon sessions? Even if you only played 1 hour a day, thats 100 hours between now and the end of August. You could still make a sizable dent if you rationed that time well.

My point being, I'd much rather play my games when the whim takes me than try to force myself to enjoy something that I'm not. I haven't felt particularly stressed about my "backlog" in ages anyways. "Marathon" is relative; I don't spend a whole lot of time playing games and I rarely beat them back-to-back.

I've beaten Gitaroo Man Lives. It only took a few hours for me to play through it in Normal mode (probably because I'm very experienced when it comes to rhythm games.) Up through the 2nd level of Master Mode (which is quite difficult.) I'll try to finish this mode as well, but for the purposes of this challenge, the game is beaten. 9 to go...

Edit: Cleared stage 2. And for the record, this game is awesome.

Painkiller:Black Edition
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Max Payne 3

Just these 4 at the moment but I am currently waiting for the Steam summer sale or any other deals that will come up so I expect this list to get longer.

Sounds to me like you just need to take some time away from gaming as a whole then.
