Alright, I've got my final list that I guess I'll start working on tomorrow.
Super Mario Bros. (NES)
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (PSP)
Halo (Xbox)
Portal (PS3) Persona (PSP)
Ico (PS3)
Braid (PC)
Gitaroo Man (PSP)
Panzer Dragoon (Saturn)
Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox)
Dragon Warrior II (GB)
I might swap Portal out for another game if I don't like the feel of it on a PS3 controller. I doubt I'll even make a dent in the list, but I'll at least try to give it a shot.
Edit: Swapping Portal due to poor load times on PS3 version? (I kind of wanted an excuse to swap it out anyway...) It's a bit more PSP heavy than I wanted...but since they're all basically ports, it should be okay.
Snickerd00dle's Summer Challenge 2012 - how is it going?

Portal on PS3 has terrible load times. You have been warned.

Hmm...that's probably enough to keep me from playing that version then. I guess I'll be switching it out for Persona (PSP) then. Thanks for the heads up.MrHealthy wrote:Portal on PS3 has terrible load times. You have been warned.

I "beat" Alpha 3 last night in the Alpha Anthology, which caused me to unlock Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, which features more characters and alternate styles, enabling more variants of the -isms. I am moving to Upper for these reasons, though I am not going to mark myself done with Alpha 3 just yet. I feel like I am starting to pick things back up. Upper gives me access to Juli, so I played through as her this morning and lost to M. Bison, netting me the bad ending.

Sonic the Hedgehog for the Master System has been completed and all chaos emeralds accounted for.

Final Score:

Well, this was a fun little romp. Despite graphical limitations and a near complete lack of enemies, I thought this was still pretty fun. The abundance of greenery also added to the charm; it's a shame bridge and jungle zones didn't end up in other Sonic games! If Sega were smart, they'd remake this one, adding in way more enemies, Super Sonic abilities for the chaos emeralds, and spin-dash for those weaklings who need it.
I definitely recommend it to anyone who owns a Master System/Genesis + Power Converter (except Hobie, who doesn't like platformers).

Congrats - this is one I need to pick up at some point!
I have made zero progress on my list at all since putting in a couple of hours on Ocarina of Time back on the 14th. I blame Diablo 3 and the fact that Ocarina starts off pretty damn boring.

I have the SMS Sonic on VC thanks to Flake.
EDIT: I'm starting my list at some point over this weekend.

Re: Snickerd00dle's Summer Challenge 2012 - make your lists!
1. Castlevania 64 [Nintendo 64] (beaten)
2. Breath of Fire [SNES]
3. Street Fighter Alpha 3 [PlayStation 2 via Alpha Anthology]
4. Silent Hill [PlayStation]
5. StarFox [SNES]
6. Tech Romancer [Dreamcast]
7. Donkey Kong Country 3 [SNES]
8. Super Mario 3 [SNES via Mario All-Stars]
9. Shadow of the Colossus [PlayStation 2]
10. Batman [NES]
Well, I just killed Dracula and apparently got the bad ending with Reinhardt, despite thinking that I only used three of those bloody sun/moon cards. I also managed to get Reinhardt's alternate costume, and I did not fight the demon. I like the game overall, but I don't know how soon I want to play through it again.
In the meantime, I've gotten to M. Bison and gotten the bad ending in Street Fighter Alpha 3 three times now. I'm not considering it done because I have not gotten any good endings (you have to lose to Bison to get the bad ending, so I have not beaten him yet). I'll keep playing Alpha 3.
And I started playing Donkey Kong Country 3! So far so good.

Ack your list is soooo good. Please start Shadow of the Colossus soon. I consider it easily one of my absolute favorite games of all time.

Ack, when are you playing Breath of Fire? I'll be playing that, too!
