They should make a new Jazz Jackrabbit game.
I was thinking just now that they should make a new Jazz Jackrabbit game for XBLA. I remember playing one of his games on the computer and loving it. Anyone else share my feelings?

Wow, that dugg up some extremely old memories. Assuming whoever made it is still in business, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. If it came with its map editor and allowed user created content, I could see jazz jackrabbit 2 doing reasonably well. That's probably the first game I played online.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Ideally, i'd like to see them release HD versions of both Jazz Jackrabbit 1 & 2 as one package for PSN/XBLA/WiiWare - although the second game improved on Jazz 1 in most ways, I still really enjoyed the more traditional platforming orientated gameplay of the original, it's a great game and doesn't deserve to be overlooked. Unfourtunatly, I can't see Epic re-visiting this series, as much as I would like them to.
Alright now, you just struck a well of nostalgia.
I would guess that not many people are even familiar with this game. Great series... #2 would probably have to be HD or use larger sprites and whatnot. I tried playing it on my TV, via s-vid and things were just too small to really enjoy it that way.

I once, back in high school (prolly around '02) for a way to bring back the series. Basically make a new game (with two new characters named Mazz and Fazz, who were Jazz and Spaz' cousins) and a compilation of all the old JJ games.
But if they ever bring back the series, they should release it both as an XBLA game and as a physical release. They'd both feature all the games that made up Jazz Jackrabbit 1 and 2 (X-Mas games, etc), but the former method would release them individually, while the latter would release it all for slightly more $$$, but they'd be much better, with more features and better audio and video.
As for a new game, it should be a third-person platform/run-and-gun shooter. Think Gears of War by way of Banjo Kazooie. I think.
