We're all sorry that they keep making promises and not delivering and instead bring half assed games and we don't like them.

Anyway, I think the problem here is they have the initial idea right but then try and do something they think will "stand out" and be "creative" which just ends up not jiving with what Sonic really is.

Generations and Colors is proof it can be done right, they just need to use their brains.

They did fix it. The changed the graphics engine which looks amazing and all the little things like spinning up a hill and staying in a ball. They did everything and the game rocks. What does not rock is Sega's shitty non supportive fan base so go play something else and stop playing Sega games seriously you guy's won't be happy until Sega does not exist anymore. Then who are you gonna have to fuck with..

I got it and its not too bad. Its not on par with Generations but it is on par with the other current 2d incarnations.
Some complain about the control and now he speeds up too slowly, I don't think it's too bad... but I don't like all the tag-team maneuvers with Tails that are introduced.
Maybe I'll take that last comment back. Originally I didn't like them, but now that I'm getting used to them I don't mind.
I guess it all comes down to me wanting to play a new Sonic game and having fun with it instead of focusing all my attention comparing it to past games.

Yup, everyone here hates Sega. That's why we have so many people who loved Sonic Generations and why we have so many discussions about the Saturn, Genesis, Master System, and Dreamcast.

...oh wait.

I like how this game fixed the physics from Episode 1. Sonic moves so fluidly now...through a game with the most herky, jerky, stop and go level design I have ever seen.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

That seems to be the biggest complaint. It has the flow and speed right but they put a bunch of things in the design to put a full halt to it.

The problem is that they had Dimps make the episode games, when just about any other developer could do a better job. Seriously, Dimps hasn't been worth beans since Sonic Rush.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror proves that they can do the programming just fine... as long as another company does the designing and doesn't let them screw anything up.
