Having analyzed Dumb and Dumber for my job, I can tell you the brand of every beer in the film and tell you about the issue of the Weekly World News that has a small moment of glory when Harry grabbed it in the restaurant while supposedly buying a round of boilermakers.

They're all Coors Light. Every beer in the film, and even most of the beer ads you see in the background: Coors must have paid a lot, because that is what people drink. And the urine that the highway patrolman drinks from a bottle? That was a Coors bottle, though the crew thought it would be in bad taste to have their investor's product be compared to piss I guess, so all of the bottles in that scene have had their labels scribbled over with marker to hide them. They're still Coors Light though. You can tell from the coloring of the label, their shape, the type of bottle used, and what little detail you can make off the labels that was not marked over.

As for the Weekly World News, if I remember right he also grabs a 5th Avenue candy bar. But I believe that issue had something about Batboy on it...then again, pretty much all Weekly World News contain something about Batboy.

Well yes, but the Crying Game wasn't advertised during Saturday morning cartoons, and my console was on the rest of the time. You know what I remember from that age? How awesome the Ducktales game was.

Speaking of which, where is Donald Duck in Ducktales? Why were the kids adopted by Scrooge?

He showed up a few times in the show. I think he was i'm the navy so Scrooge was taking care of the kids.

Donald is their dad and Daisy is their mom. In cartons of them before ducktails this was established actually. I don't know why they never explain it in the cartoon though.

Source? I read the comics and even then he was called uncle donald. Even their first appearance was called "Donald's Nephews". Basically don't read to much in to cartoons, its the same for Goofy's son Max, who's the mom.
