Wait ... so you get disconnected less if you regularly use chat?
Not even use. Just if chat messages regularly appear in your chat box. There is a thread in the official forums on it with a suggested fix of "join general". Apparently the problem is with client-server communications desync and so will need a client side patch to resolve. Being in chat prevents the desync from happening.

Interesting. I have not had any disconnect issues. Surprising considering how crappy my internet is. But I am guessing I get a more solid connection from my laptop than from my PS3. When I play on PSN it's pretty awful a lot of the time..

What's your Battletag? I can just natter incessantly at you if you like.

"Whatcha doin?"
"Isn't Diablo just, the, best!?"
"Do you think Leah and me ...?"
"Do you have any good crossbows I can have?"
"Why do you keep disconnecting?"

Just played a game with my lil' sis who is already in Act II (I'm still in Act I, just killed the Skeleton King). Needless to say, she just ran through the story on my wife and my instance, and we have no idea wtf happened in the story. She accepted quests while we weren't in the same room, so we missed alot of the dialog.

Anyone know how to roll back the game or redo quests without having to create a new character?

I thought when you are in the char selct you could click on the upper left where it says active quest and change it? Could be wrong.

I hope that is the case. This is the first game like this that my wife played, and she's really bummed that she missed the story parts.

Below the Resume Game button you'll see a Change Quest button. This lets you restart any quest. Keep in mind, if you were midway through a quest prior to changing it then you'll have to start that quest from the beginning. So it's best to finish a quest before restarting.

And no, you can't have my crossbows. They're all mine! Mwahahahahah!

Stark is correct. You can roll back that way. Just go to a prior section and you'll be good. At least, it seems to work that way. I've been able to roll back using that. I still haven't beaten Act I. I've played through the Skeleton King with 3 chars so far though, love it.

Yep, just confirmed it and rolled back my story to the skele king quest again, got the first two shards of the sword all over again, not missing any story this time :)

Seriously, aside from some random d/c issues in co-op, I'm finding trouble pointing out any major flaws in this game. They did everything to streamline it and make it enjoyable to the player.

All the people that wanna bitch and moan about lack of LAN or always-on DRM can miss out for all I care, one less instance for Blizzard to have to manage on the servers :)

Dammit Diablo 3. I can't even play single player right now because the servers are down for maintenance. At least I finally set up the game for JoyToKey. Fuck yea controller support. Now I can be extra lazy. :)
