So that was the moment your childhood died forever?

And you weren't watching TV at the age of 8?

Though I had forgotten that movie was that old. As I said, I've never watched it. I just remember the talk about it and the spoiler. People couldn't shut up about it for a bit.

Really? Not even the Simpsons episode where the mayor called it out to the whole town got you before this thread?

Really? I've never even seen the movie and back when it was new the media wouldn't shut up about it so I got spoiled within weeks of it's release.
I just watched the movie for the first time a couple months ago. I remember how no one would stop talking about it back at release. Even if you don't know the details, simply knowing there is a huge plot twist to be spoiled pretty much gives it away.

Well yes, but the Crying Game wasn't advertised during Saturday morning cartoons, and my console was on the rest of the time. You know what I remember from that age? How awesome the Ducktales game was.

Speaking of which, where is Donald Duck in Ducktales? Why were the kids adopted by Scrooge?

noiseredux wrote: We might as well use the Spoiler Tag, eh? Do it like this though: Put the title to the game and then use the spoiler tag for your little story, that way people can see the game title and know if they should open the spoiler tag or not.

Back then every other page about Diablo had that animated gif of Diablo himself attacking. I was really surprised and dissapointed that when I made it to level 16 he died and the game was over. I literally yelled "where's the end boss?!?"
WTF, dood!?

Donald Duck has to go join the Navy, so he leaves them in the care of Uncle Scrooge.

He showed up a few times in the show. I think he was i'm the navy so Scrooge was taking care of the kids.
