I fugured it out. Have to push reset button after powerup.
I have a PAL SNES and I've bought an AD-29 Universal Adaptor Upgrade Version because i heard it's a quite good converter but my NTSC games can't boot.
These are japanese Bomberman 2 and 3.
I have one PAL game Super Ghouls and Ghosts - this does work.
Nothing happens when I put it into Slot A and one of the Bombermans in Slot B. There isn't any image or text or sound.
The guy i bought the converter from told me i should try with another PAL cartridge because not all of them good.
If it's ture then what cart do you guys recommend to get?
Or is is a broken unit? I took out the JP cart and the PAL one can't boot alone.

Re: SNES PAL-NTSC converter Bomberman question
Have you thought about just switch or Super CIC modding it?

Re: SNES PAL-NTSC converter Bomberman question
Im using a games master dual slot adapter on a PAL snes
and i have a Japanese copy of bomberman 2.
works fine dude.
Sorry I'm no tech wiz so i don't know whats up with your set up, but through the games master all my imports are working fine, other than Megaman X... Which is giving me some trouble at the minute (resets after stage 1) :/
perhaps its your adapter?

the seller told me it's not the ntsc cart but the cart i'm using as master (and i have only one pal cart so far). i am not sure this makes any sense. could you try something? put the master cart _only_ into the converter and tell me what happens. thanksMotleyKhon wrote:Im using a games master dual slot adapter on a PAL snes

Re: SNES PAL-NTSC converter Bomberman question
No one told me i have to hit reset after power-on.
I just wanted to throw it out but gave it a last try.

Re: SNES PAL-NTSC converter Bomberman question
I don't know much about SNES adapters... But in the N64 adapters that I have, they only work with older games - newer ones (released after a certain date) have an anti-hack chip or something that disables them. If your adapter works with other games, then this might be the issue - bomberman might have an anti-adapter lockout.

Re: SNES PAL-NTSC converter Bomberman question
It does work with Push-Over (1992 EU ) but doesn't work with Ghouls n Ghosts (12/10/92 EU).
Release dates from gamefaqs. There is no month and day date on Push-Over. these are my only pal games so far.
It's srange no one mentioned the reset button, maybe it's too obvious. And i don't have the manual.
