And with that Ack ... *bookmarks*

Been really interested in Lennus 2 myself. It looks so strange and out there.

Alcahest I beat and it's debatable. The RPG elements are obviously there but it's extremely arcadey as well and stage based, definitely something you can do in one sitting (I rarely do this but I reverted to save states though... bosses were hard as crap later on, definitely a twitchy game). But man that game has outstanding music, think it was the Kirby composer or something doing really epic songs.

Treasure of Rudra looks like FFVI-2, heh.

Good list Ack. I'd also recommend Mystic Ark, the Japan-only sequel to The 7th Saga.

Tactics Ogre also has an English patch. Highly recommended if you like Ogre Battle.

I enjoy the Sailor Moon RPG but you may not if you're not a fan of the anime. Same goes for the the Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo games. Ack mentioned Magic Knight Rayearth, which is just a good game period (I played it years before I ever watched the anime or read the manga).

Do you realize how long it would take you to play through all these fuctfuct? We're talkin' years.

That's assuming i have a life, lol. I doubt i will finish all of them. Remember, if i don't like it i can quit after 8 hours (I might change this to 4). I can already see a bunch i know will fall into that category. Whats the average length of an SNES RPG? I'm gonna guess 40 hours? say there where 80 games on the final list. That's only 3200 hours. ONLY! heh

Making the package is pretty annoying so far. Patching all the games and finding as much documentation as possible.

These are the JP games i could find finished translations for. I have not looked into every game to see if it is a "real" RPG yet. Feel free to rip it apart.

You might wanna add Romancing Saga 3, Alcahest, Dai-3-Ji Super Robot Taisen (strategy RPG), Gunple: Gunman's Proof, Monstania, Ryuki Heidan Danzalv, Tenchi Muyou! Game-Hen, and Yume Meikyuu: Kigurumi Daibouken.

Also:

- Dark Half is about 75% translated. Maybe put it at the bottom of the list and by the time you get to there it will be 100%.
- Radical Dreamers isn't exactly an RPG but is the "sequel" to Chrono Trigger. Might be worth a shot.
- RPG Tsukuru 2 and RPG Tsukuru: Super Dante both have English patches. They are RPG Maker games.

I *think* I saw a translation of Ys V floating around.

...I should really get around to playing Ys V sometime...

I didn't find translations for any of the games in the first part of your post. I set romhacking.net to only look for "fully Playable" patches. I will look harder! heh. I wont be adding anything not fully translated or RPG Maker games.

Is that the overhead one? Think it's partially translated or something like that.

Japanese part of this list is kicking my ass. English name, Japanese name, does it have a translation, is it an RPG.... *sigh*

Edited the first post

Does anyone know if Arcus Odyssey (USA) (Proto) is fully playable?
