Actually we just got that color in controllers, not systems.

That would explain my confusion, although that was kind of jerky of Nintendo.

I suppose it would be possible to place an NTSC GCN inside an orange shell. That might be neat to try sometime.

Traditionally LE consoles don't sell as well in the US, so I understand why many of these were JP only. It began w/the Funtastic N64's being even more Funtastic in Japan (using multi-colored clear schemes in JP, vs the single color clear for North America).

Spice Orange was originally going to be a US release, but as sales of the other "new" colors were stale, it never made it over.

Gamecube was on a whole other level, in Japan.

Not too mention the Club Nintendo Japan goodies:

...among others.

Dreamcast JP exclusives was amazing, even more variations than GCN LE's.

And even PAL got in on the GCN LE's:

All complete and all $4.06 a piece. They had some other's but I either already have them or wasn't interested. Really glad to finally get Chibi-Robo. I've been trying to track that one down for a while
 Good catch on Windwalker and Chibi-Robo!

Can't seem to get signal out of the Atari, think it needs a new power adapter. But at least now I have a joystick and several new games to use with my 7800.
A four switch but still very nice! Just to confirm, the NINE VOLT power supply is plugged into the "Ear Bud" mono phone jack? You can verify the power Supply with a volt meter. The hardwired cable in the Atari is not composite but RF, use an adapter to plug it in Coaxial and set the TV to channel 2 or 3 or 4. But you probably already know this since you own a 7800, hope you get the "woody" working.

Adventure Time #4, Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, a loose NES, a loose GCN with an official 251 memory card, Space Ghost Coast to Coast volume 1, Sony brand radio headphones, a PPG plate, and a SNES controller. Don't ask me why I bought the PPG plate, I still haven't figured it out.
Welcome to the club. I work on cars but also enjoy waytching the Powerpuff DVDs. MO JO JO JO!

All the dreamcast games are imports besides space channel 5 and a couple are still sealed.
Good Find! I can't make out one of the NES carts, maybe list out the titles?

I saw a Pokemon Gamecube last week at the Swap Meet, looked like an add on wrap. The wrap was thick, a rounded surface over the console. It was selling for twenty bucks, didn't buy it since I already have two Digital Port Gamecubes. Now I'm wondering if it might have been a limited edition, maybe even an Import?? :?

There were a lot of Pokemon Skins and Mario Skins for gamecubes, just puffy decals to add to your existing cube.

This was the most common, afaik:

The only official US pokemon designed cube was this one, but not terribly limited in numbers:

It was the first Jiggly Puff Skin version, man that is a relief!

Spent the weekend in Indianapolis visiting my patents. My wife, dad and I went to a couple neighbor hood garage sales. Fun getting out in an area I've never rummaged around before. My dad and I did pretty well. He hasn't gone junking' in a long time and had a blast, so that part was cool.

Here's my haul

Image
$10.00 - got the entire bundle at a garage sale.

Image
This group came from a goodwill
$4.99 - Gameboy color and paperboy
$.49 each - Best of the best and Mario deluxe
$2.99 - Xbox controller
$1.00 - SNES/N64/GCN av cable

Image
7.00 I know, I know... Not a video game related item, but a super awesome score at a garage sale! Already watched aliens on it. Works great!

Laserdisk players are actually quite valuable. I'm sure if you hang onto that for a couple of years you'll be able to make a pretty profit indeed. (Which you also could now, but I'd watch Aliens 15 more times first)
