Hmmm... I was involved in the end stages of it so you can see my last name in the credits. I don't really want to go into more detail, but Pier Solar holds a lot of sentimental value to me. It's not something I would ever want to sell, at the least!

I know you are probably looking for a long/interesting story, so I apologize for the lack of it!

These babies

I have ALWAYS wanted one of these, since the 90s. They have always been prohibitively expensive, but I finally sacked up and bought one... then another

Tell us what they are, where you got them, why you wanted them, etc. A story is needed!

These are Sharp X68000 computers. The model on the left is an older model, while the single tower version on the right is a newer model with a faster CPU. They were released by Sharp in Japan in the late 80s. These computers have some awesome games and ports that were released for it.

Here is a quick video describing the machine:

Sharp X68000 computer systems. Basically Japan-only. They are especially awesome because they had the best arcade ports at the time. Imagine, it is 1990 and you have a PC Engine and/or Mega Drive. You are really excited to get a port of After Burner II or Ghouls 'n Ghosts. You visit your friend who has an X68000 and he lets you try those ports on it... you realize, HOLY SHIT!!! These are the freakin' arcade games right here! Forget my PC Engine or Mega Drive, WOW. I'm getting an X68000!!!

THAT is why they are awesome.
