What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Smile: Worked my first real day as a guitar/amp tech today. :D

Frown: Today was my only day off this week from my other job. :(

I did a minor repair to a guitar and an amp, but this one guitar I had to work on today presented so many problems. I got there around 12 and didn't get back until 8:30 or 9. I'm not even done with it, I gotta go back tomorrow (after work) and finish it up. But oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do. I'm actually happy I was able to get this particular guitar to do, I was able to show the boss how capable I am. Hopefully now this job can become more steady.

Smile: Finally got a new phone. Wasn't expecting to get a job offer while I was at it.

:( : Have to take next Thursday off from work...

:) : ...because I'm going to MEPS. Since I won't be here for a day or two, I'll need one of you to videotape everything that happens and send me a copy.

Actually, I prefer working to having time off. I don't get paid to sit at home. Also, I only work an average of 10 hours per week so I don't have the opportunity to get burned out.

I myself, started up a new schedule, and am working 4/10's now. So your work week is a day for me. Sooooooooo, give me all your free time if you don't want it!

FROWN: Slept in my sister-in-law's bed last night (she wasn't in the bed with me) and now my back is killing me.

DOUBLE FROWN: Drove about 30 miles (one way) to check out a gaming store I had never been to. Complete waste of time. Jacked up prices, games in horrible condition, etc...

I really wish gaming stores would sell their disc-only PS1 games in empty jewel cases. Instead they insist on printing off some crappy "replacement cover" and placing it on the front. Looks tacky as hell.

Sorry about your back, but man I laughed out loud at the fact you clarified you didn't sleep with your sister-in-law.

Smile: My parents will arrive in around six hours. Bought all new furniture for the guest room and have been spending the past two days cleaning the house inside and out. Can't wait to see them and, for the most part, relax.

Plus, my parent's dog recently passed away, so my Father being able to spend time with my dog Ripley always cheers him up. I'll take the family antiquing, take them out for sushi, do a little shopping, and before I know it they'll be out of my house all too soon.

Frown: You ever hide something and then later find out you hid it all too well?
