Is it just me or do the later S2 episodes try to cater more to the older audience members? It's been some time since I watched the original S1 episodes but these new ones seem to be more humorous, which isnt that surprising given that the creators of the series are now familiar with the whole brony phenomenon. Like the black and white movie jokes in "Hurricane Fluttershy" and "MMMystery on the Friendship Express". The show shouldn't try too hard to be hip and popular or it'll end up looking phony or alienate the original target demographic.

We're talking about girls seven and under here. I don't think they could care less as long as they get their ponies.

Also, there is the MLP/Phoenix Wright fan video series, Turnabout Storm, that has been in production for a while, and is actually quite good!

That series is pretty awesome.
