I've played several classes now to about level 6-7. Favorite so far is the Witch Doctor. Loving the game!

Have not tried the witch doctor yet, so far I've gotten a Monk and Demon Hunter to 6-7. Is Witch Doctor like the necro from D2?

I'd say yes, seems to be. He's pretty different, but he's still definitely the pet class. I'd just say (at least so far) that he's more of a ranged DOT class with pets as distraction/damage sponges rather than the direct dealers.

Again, that's so far. I'm not very far.
