brunoafh wrote: Do you have any plans to go after Saturn shmups? That's the shmup collection I'm personally always trying to build. It's very expensive but I think it's worth it, so much greatness. The best shmup collection is one you regularly play and will get your money out of, so always consider that while collecting this particularly expensive genre of games.

so over the weekend I decided I'd start looking into emulating older disc-based systems on my PC. I don't have room for new consoles, but figured this would be a way to ease me into some other shmup libraries.

Wouldn't you know it I stumbled upon In The Hunt today!

CIB for $15. The case is in great condition and it even has that sponge thing inside to keep the disc safe. :D

Good find.

Finding a decent Saturn case in the wild is always something to get excited about!

is that your first ever Saturn game?

Also, I was told when voting for shmup of the month that In the Hunt doesn't count as a shmup

it doesn't constantly scroll and there are places you can use that to farm

Yes my first saturn game. It's not a scrolling shmup so you can't really play for score... You can easily farm points.
