Thinking of doing video game lot sales on here before Ebay

What would you guys rather have? I've never seen how the Auction form would happen on a forum. I figure it would be too much clutter


Would you guys rather have an auction type set up on the lots? Or a flat rate before I do this?

I will give this thread until tonight, and then I will figure out how it goes


The hint you guys will get will be. I am selling ALL of out of box cartridge games!

We have an Auction sub-forum.

On occasion, members will have their own auction on-site. If you were to start an auction you would have to keep track of bids, so there's a little work involved. However, you're avoiding ebay fees/hassle.

Well what I would do is tell people auction will end at so and so time. all bids to be sent via PM

highest bid = win

but I dont know how that will work since people wont know high someone else is bidding

You'll have to post periodic updates on what the highest bid is. How much upkeep you want to do is, of course, up to you.

Have them post their bid in your auction thread.

I've seen it done like that before without any problems.

I kind of like the idea of anonymous bidding, but it's neither here nor there really.
