Smoked oysters in cottonseed oil on toast. A stinky meal, but delicious.

Were the oysters packed in cottonseed oil or did you add that? Seems like a different oil to use.

They came in it. Most brands I see around here use cottonseed oil.

Pound it down pasta tonight.

1 lb. cooked Ziti
1 lb. Bacon, sliced into 1 inch strips
1 lb. fresh mozzarella (cubed)
3 chopped bell peppers (orange, red, and yellow)
1 large onion, diced
olive oil
salt and pepper
Parmesan cheese

In a pan add a drizzle of olive oil and cook the bacon (not too crisp). Drain majority of fat. Add in veggies, cook until onion is translucent. Add vegetables and bacon to ziti while still warm and add the mozzarella. Stir, season to taste and top with Parmesan cheese. Garbish with parsley if you'd like.

Serves more than a family of four.

Pistachios. They're the greatest thing ever.

(for lunch a few hours ago)

Five Guys cheeseburger and mountain of peanut oil fries.

And like an idiot I ate all the fries with my meal. I do this every time and I still feel like I'm going to explode hours later.

Heh, my gf and I went to the Five Guys right down the street from us for my informal birthday dinner (the real one with friends/family is Saturday). It's much easier to manage the fries when you're splitting them with someone else.
