A Complete Sega Genesis Cardbox Set Pics Video, and Write UP

Post by timemaster11 »

It has taken me awhile and things might change, but I believe I have finally amassed a complete Sega Genesis Cardbox Set. I bought games from all over internet, and gathered info from here and many other sites, so to those of you who helped me directly or indirectly thank you.

Please check out the link for a write up, video, pics, and google doc of the whole set.

*PS. Yes, the video is kind of crappy it was done on my iphone and I am not much of an editor.

That is incredible and awe-inspiring! Image

Just one question: I see that you are collecting all U.S. Sega games. But why not Sega Master System games? Or am I not seeing them?

Awesome. . . but god I hate those boxes. I actually had no idea they made so many games with them.

Incredible! I would never go for a complete collection, so much annual sports game etc crap that I would never even try.
From a visual stand point, which do you prefer, Genesis or Mega Drive boxes? I personally hate the red color of Genesis boxes, Mega Drive boxes look a lot cooler most of the time in my opinnion.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Including Sonic?

Would you mind showing me the sticker? I've never been able to find one and heard conflicting reports of what the sticker says and where it is? I'm just curious about it.

Well, This isn't really the thread to start the SMS Sonic debate but my Sonic has no Sticker and I am okay with that. I have lots of reasons I could go into, but maybe I'll save that for a blog entry and we can all argue over it then. The location of the sticker is on the back in the bottom left hand corner over the barcode. Here is a link to a pic.http://supermensa.org/forums/showthread ... FOR-981-33

Mind you some people try to fake this sticker, so make sure it has that exact number if you are serious about buying one.

As to the 3D glasses, yes I have a pair and that are with a system, though I would like one in a box by itself. It will probably wait until after I finish my Genesis collection though. 150 game left.
