1. Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)
2. Yoshi's Story (N64)
3. Brave Fencer Musashi (PSX)
4. Gradius III (SNES)
5. Super Mario World 2 (SNES)
6. Illusion of Gaia (SNES)
7. Beyond Good & Evil (GCN)
8. Grim Fandango (PC)
9. Painkiller (PC)
10. Return to Castle Wolfenstein (PC)

Assuming I can resist the lure of Diablo 3, this seems doable.

Yeah, I come back to that game once a year and give it a go. I usually hit a wall at the speed stage cause I have to re-memorize it each time.

If you don't mind funny coloured NES carts you can buy one here: http://www.retrousb.com/product_info.ph ... ucts_id=93

EDIT: Page says you can get it in gray as well.

Wow! That's... green!
Yeah. I'd probably get a gray.

Thanks for the link. I may buy one sometime.

The GoG version is the AO European release, Fahrenheit. I doubt that's the version they put up on Steam. That's the version I have... I don't recommend the keyboard controls at all, and you can't use a 360 pad.
...how come no 360 pad? I was thinking of getting one for PC games, is that a no-go? I mean, will this game work with OTHER gamepads, just not a 360 one?

I guess my question is for just a general all-purpose PC pad, what should I be looking for? And then specifically, what about for this game should I choose to play the PC port instead of the PS2 port?

This is the only game I've ever had serious trouble using the 360 pad; most developers seem to consider it the de-facto standard. Something about the way the triggers are mapped to axes prevents the game from recognizing one of the analog sticks, no matter how much I fiddled with it. Most any game made post-2006 (e.g. not Fahrenheit) seems to get along with it just fine, albeit sometimes with a little fiddling.

Alright. My final list.

1. The Legend of Zelda
2. Super Mario Bros.
3. Super Mario Bros. 3
4. Golden Axe II
5. Contra
6. Double Dragon II
7. Wizards & Warriors
8. Ninja Gaiden
9. Android Assault: The Revenge of Bari-Arm
10. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

All NES except for Android Assault and Golden Axe II.
I've actually beaten GA II with a friend but never solo. And I'm not going for a 1CC on Android Assault.
