Ah. Oh, and to answer your Backloggery question, Castlevania 64 is on my list for this summer. I have made it to the point where I have to run but not jump or get hit while holding that explosive compound...so...halfway through?

Yes, that's the literal half-way point.

And if you play on the Easy difficulty, the game will end with a message saying something like: "To see the rest of the game please choose a higher difficulty."

And I bet you love being able to save your game this time.

Oh God yes. I abuse saving solely because I can. I am playing on Normal mode, as that is the way the game was intended to be played by the developers. It is better than I expected overall, though I have had a few gripes with targeting and the camera. Nothing too serious though.

I bought the PC port on Steam a few years ago during a summer sale. I believe they don't sell it anymore. It is available for 6 bucks on GOG though.

The GoG version is the AO European release, Fahrenheit. I doubt that's the version they put up on Steam. That's the version I have... I don't recommend the keyboard controls at all, and you can't use a 360 pad.

So I'm gonna have to break out the PS2 controller, adapter, and GlovePIE?

I bought a bluetooth adapter just to use my PS3 controller in this one game.

awe man, now you're tempting me to play the uncut PC version instead. I mean $6 and it includes the soundtrack.
