Yeah, when I very first played it, I didn't realize that you can totally fuck yourself by doing things in the slightly wrong order, and had to start the game completely over.

Well, it only is if you save constantly like I do, and save after you have already screwed things up.

Have you not played OoT?

Aha. That's my complaint with most Strategy-type games; save Warcraft and Starcraft.

That's my complaint with most games, period. Which I suppose is most of the reason I've been sticking to shmups lately.

Edit* swapping adventure island for fantavision. Ok here is my list. Starting june 1st ending sep 1st.

1. excitebike (nes)
2. fantavision (ps2)
3. metroid (nes)
4. mortal kombat 2 (snes)
5. donkey kong country 2 (snes)
6. metal gear solid 4 (ps3)
7. ico (ps2)
8. sly raccoon (ps2)
9. pikmin 2 (gc)
10. rayman origins (wii)

I think this will be easily achievable. Im not sure on the difficulty of adventure island and metroid though..

Why? There's never an unwinnable situation in zelda.

As for the above post - Metroid is a little tricky, but definitely doable. Adventure Island is really hard though.

I'm officially starting today/now. I think 3 months is a good, round number, so August 15 will be my end date.
