I didn't say he wasn't a bad seed. He's representative of much of what is wrong with our political discourse. I said he doesn't engage in hate speech. "Worst Person in the World" is fair critique and lampooning of public figures. Limbaugh has frequently made sexist and racist comments on his show and elsewhere. Olbermann has not.

And that's a small minority of hate groups. My comment was that members of hate groups (all of them in total) most likely vote Republican (if they vote at all or for a major party).
I'd argue that while they are smaller, they are more vocal, at least in the news I see.
That said, my ex-girlfriend texted me saying she misses me...I have no idea what to do. She recently had a big fight with some friends in which they pointed out that she was miserable and treating everyone else like garbage. Do I text her back and tell her to fuck off after how she treated me, do I be polite but tell her I don't care, do I just not respond?
Try to patch things up if only as a friend. (at least I would) I've saved one or two ex-friendships that way. People can change a lot really fast when they eat a slice of humble pie.
In other news I have been trying to eat my lunch for hours but this one pair of customers has been in here since five..... Ah, the joys of local business.

As much as I feel it is good to forgive and forget, I think the screwed you over too hard for talking to her to be a good idea. I say nothing more than a "I'm sorry to hear that, but due to the way things went I think it is best we do not speak to each other again in future. I've moved on and you should as well". Or something like that.
