3. Street Fighter Alpha 3 [PlayStation 2 via Alpha Anthology]
4. Silent Hill [PlayStation]
5. StarFox [SNES]
6. Tech Romancer [Dreamcast]
7. Donkey Kong Country 3 [SNES]
8. Super Mario 3 [SNES via Mario All-Stars]
9. Shadow of the Colossus [PlayStation 2]
10. Batman [NES]

Aren't you like, the "horror guy"? How is this not something you've played/finished?

Oh, I've played it. I've just never beaten it, despite having beaten 0, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I actually did not have it in my collection for a long time, and while I acquired it in the last year or so, I had not gotten around to playing it. This will be a good incentive to finally do that though.

Oh, do we have to play these in order? Just wondering.

Hint: Stairs. (if you're not at that part yet, this will still help you later)
Its the part were I have to help my fellow escapee in the vent, as well as drop a light fixture onto a guard from above. I can do both of these things, dealing with the 3 guards between them, but when I try to move on and a guard ambushes me and I drop my gun, I can't seem to grab it before he vaporizes me. Making me have to do it all over again.

I think I know what part you're talking about (it's the one part I had to look up a walkthrough for) and if it is the stairs are the key. I can elaborate with various levels of crypticism if you'd like.

Sure I guess. But its not really a puzzle Im stuck on, but more a timing thing as I find the controls kinda slippery and I can't react fast enough.

It's not really a timing thing. The key is the order you kill the enemies in.
