It's the camera, I don't have any video capturing devices.

My primary file on Pokemon Blue was one my (then) baby brother named AAAAAAA. :)

Then again, it's the only version of Link's Awakening I've ever known, so maybe I'm not the one to ask. I'd imagine it's entirely the same.
I found a Google Images from other sites that shows an identical Title Screen and Cart Label. As others also mentioned on the previous page, only the sticker seems unique. Still a great discovery, lucky you still have part of the sticker for the story.

You could take it a step further and compare the PCB inside with someone who might have the regular version. Very likely be identical, but a chance the demo cart might have a different layout inside or even a better battery for the demo durability? At least the revision might be different to augment the sticker. A revision that just might have something different in the game? :?

My KV24 had alignment issues that couldn't be repaired without a technician but it was only slight so I played through it.

However, there is a new Impact! Thrift Store near me and I had our Santa Fe today so I popped in. All TVs were $15 and were another 25% off with a furniture sale.

This guy was plugged in and showing the local PBS channel so I saw that the screen was perfect - no gamble this time. Two S-video inputs (including the front) and component in the back.

I paid $12.15 (and they load it into your car around back) for this KV27-FV300 Sony.

Very nice and Lightgun ready! :D

Here you go, a manual: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KV27FV300.PDF

The WEGA I bought came with a working remote, but the wrong one for all the features. I ended up going back and buying another Sony Remote for a dollar. It has an ANT button to switch from 2 RF inputs, handy for the separate Atari input. I'll keep an eye out for the correct remote with a Mem stick button.

At first Goodwill was acting like they weren't going to have anything today. I was about ready to give up, then I hit up the toys and found this bad boy:

for $2.50 :D

Couldn't find the sensor anywhere. It may or may not pop up there eventually, but I'm sure I'll find one somewhere.

Awesome :D

I think it's important for all retro gamers who scour thrift stores to ALWAYS check the toy section. You never know what'll sneak its way over there. I've found systems, controllers, peripherals and games all in the toy section at one time or another. And remember, if you want any plushies, you've got to dig to the bottom of those damn bins.
