Very well.

Happy Console Gamer does it well.

AVGN does it well.

Chris Bucci (Turboviews) does it well.

Happy Video Game Nerd does it well (at least he VERY openly acknowledges that he parodies AVGN).

The Irate Gamer, even though I do not watch his stuff much, also does a good job.

Even Dankss is kind of interesting, because you know he's putting his heart into it and is legit. He's the real deal on that end and it interesting as a result.

The OP here is just playing a bunch of games on SNES9X on his computer and talking about them by himself or with his buddies. They're just rambling on without thought of their audience like a couple of buddies. That's fine for their own fun, but it translates to very boring videos.

And yes, watching something being played on am emulator when you know damn well they person doesn't have the game and hasn't even really played it before IS boring.

I friggin' love DVD commentaries :(
The average person I know isn't into that sort of thing, myself included.
??? The commentaries are on there because. . . people like listening to them. I hear more complaints about dvds that DON'T include commentaries. For anyone into movies, they're awesome. And if you're not into movies. . . why are you buying movies?

I disagree. A lot of times I'm just trying to find a video of a game I just learned about and see what it's all about without annoying commentary.

You have a good point sir.

I actually think this place is very nice. I got banned from other forums just for having contradicting opinions on things. I just think people here take retro gaming more seriously than most other people which is something I think more people should do.

Yeah I thought his video was absolutely retarded I was just trying to find something positive about it since he already got his share of bashing.

And yeah I hate gameplay videos with commentary...movies too! Of course angry video game nerd is good times though but he's more like entertainment with games periodically playing, he's not making a gameplay video.
