640x240? Holy crap I didn't even realize you could get a projector with that poor of resolution lol
Yeah but wouldn't it be ideal for SNES/GEN etc??? Maybe no upscaling and still a huge picture. :?
Indeed, that's standard definition TV if you line double. If there's no lag it might actually be better for old consoles than a newer projector if it is decent otherwise.

Edit:
Well Ill be, my Benq can be bought Manufacturer refurbished on Ebay for $200:

Hmm, now I really have to think about it.
It'll be up in a few days, my work schedule is tight and i usually have time to toy around on my days off, i'm gonna set up some systems and hook up the dvd player to get the full effect, i will definitely put up pics.

well, the problem with that projector is that it doesnt have zoom and you cant really sharpen the image, it only has a/v and you have to be in complete darkness in order to see anything. its not really that good.

Hmm, now I really have to think about it.
After toying with it for about 3 weeks i can definitely say its worth it, i've connected all of my consoles with no problems at all. the clarity depends on the type of hookup your using (a/v always fuzzy) (hdmi crystal clear). my projector setup from 125 inches away are 56 height by 77 width,
here are a few pros and cons ive noticed

Digital galaxy dg-737l

pros
tons of inputs (av/hdmi/svideo/vga/tv tuner
remote has options for hue/sharpness ect ect
bulb replacement is cheap 25-30 on ebay
Very good lumens (2000)

cons
fan noise (but drowned out by sound system)
the farther back the projector the bigger the image (no zoom)
weak projector speaker.

just a tip,
you have to press the power 2x on the remote to shut off the bulb, it takes the projector a few minutes shut down. (this is normal). if you cut off the projector abruptly you may damage the bulb. (all projectors are like that).

So on that note i recommend this to anyone on a budget. 3 weeks so far with no issues. And when it does i will report back.lol

I know the pic cant do this thing justice,
Daytone usa for dreamcast.
