I currently own the game on the ps3 because at that time I didn't have a 360. I may end up getting a copy of the 360 like later, but I actually want to know the comparisons coming from the people on this board. I've checked comparisons online and I find it really hard to tell the difference with the exception of the framerate drops. I've discovered that 360 maintains a consistent framerate throughout, but in turn you get some screen tears that is not present on the ps3. What I'm concerned about is how the game looks on the ps3 in comparison with the 360? like texture and sharpness and so on? and by how much of a difference?
The reason why I'm bringing this up is that I get the feeling people/critics are exaggerating that there's a huge difference, but how do I know if they're not? I've been reading face offs or head to head for every Capcom game and it seems like company has improved over time, but 360 still comes right off the top most of the time. They're not saying ps3 games are "unplayable," but they're just slightly inferior to their 360 counterpart.

Re: Lost Planet Extreme Condition Comparison Xbox360/PS3 AGA
If you're really concerned with having the best go for the PC version. However, between the 360 and PS3, they're largely identical. Certainly not worth buying another copy for either one.
If you don't have them both side by side you probably wont notice any difference.
