The good thing about WWE over the last two years is that the return of The Rock along with CM Punk's outburst last year, have made us hardcore fans feel like WWE will reach the high standards set 10 years ago.
This is what has me so angry lately, the constant teases. Every time they have their finger on something hot, they screw it up or rush it. Every time they tease us into thinking change is coming, it doesn't. At this point, I have zero faith in them and refuse to give them the benefit of the doubt on anything anymore.
I couldn't agree more. And I'm recently getting to that point, as well. I didn't even watch Smackdown last week, and I have yet to finish this week's Raw.

TNA at least has good in-ring action going on to offset the often bad writing. WWE doesn't even have that going for them, most of the time.

So. John Cena huh?

Pre-nup aside, his wife is still going to make a killing.

His wife hired the same lawyer that Linda Hogan uses. So I expect this to get really ugly, really quick.

For those in the know, is this situation pretty common place in the WWE?

I don't think Hogan had a pre-nup though and she was with him for everything in his career.

Cena's only been married for three years and whatever she signed up front is going to limit things.

"Rock saw Cena makin' out with Eve, Grabbin' on her thigh, tuggin' on her weave. Cena was havin' the time of his life, I guess he didn't tell her that he's got a wife. Let's rock. Everybody let's rock. Divorce lawyer's right up the block, but we're dancing because Racket Boy Rocks."

This divorce is making a lot of buzz and rampant speculation on possible story arcs. This could be used as a possible promotion tool, playing on Cena's humanization and possibly leading to a means to destroy the stagnant Super Cena facade. Make him believably vulnerable by blurring the line that separates kayfabe from reality.

I wouldn't put it past WWE creative and upper management to exploit the man's personal problems... and honestly, from what I've seen and heard if anyone can suck it up for the business it's Cena. But still, I have no clue what's up with his personal life but as a human being I feel bad for the guy... the wrestling life is extremely hard on the wrestlers and families.

Ive always felt these kind of angles are just too unsavory. All the stuff they did after Eddie's death just turned my stomach and i can't believe the people involved took part in it. NO way in hell Eddie would have wanted that.

But then if you ever bet on Vince's humanity your going to lose. Hed sell snuff tapes of Owen's death if he could.

Well, that's just not true. He could now - but Over the Edge '99 has never been released commercially to make any money off it.
