If that's right, I would presume that even a by-the-book Christian, thinking any homosexual isn't "right" in their book, but at least they wouldn't treat them in the way that so many people seem to do. Isn't God supposed to sort us out in the end anyways, not humans... We're really "fighting" about such asinine things like gay marriage when instead we should be working to better humanity and improve living standards for all of us, especially those who have so little.

I picture Obama in the oval office, feet crossed on desk, hands behind his head thinking "well, I don't have to worry about the election anymore".
Shit, he was doing that when there were still three people in the Republican race. The only viable candidate they had didn't know what the capital of Uzbekibekibekistan was and then got embroiled in a sex scandal.

The guy who didn't know what the US's policy in Libya was (or for that matter probably didn't know where Libya is) was a viable candidate????

On the bright side you live in Shelbyville now. At last that's what we call it on this side of the river.

You're probably right, but recent news has definitely sealed Obama's victory. I could see this election being an even bigger landslide than when Reagan was voted in.
I'm flabbergasted. We're not talking about childish shenanigans, the guy was a total asshole. Still is.
Would any of this matter if all legal/tax/etc benefits for legally married couples were revoked? In other words, if there was no such thing as "legal marriage" and it was purely ceremonial?

Haha seriously! Try telling this to Republicans though. They seem convinced that he can somehow pull it off. Dude is simply incredibly unlikeable (a huge understatement, I know).

That would never happen.
Plus, now we're talking about how Romney and his posse pinned down a gay student, and as why the student was crying and screaming for help, Romney belittled him and cut his hair off. Also, he laughs about it.
