Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

QFT. If it wasn't for this rubber-banding bullshit Titan Quest + Immortal Throne would be just about perfect. In fact, a few weeks ago I hooked up with some friends to play Titan Quest and one of my conditions to playing the game was that we wouldn't play with the expansion installed so we wouldn't have the damn performance issues. The other condition was that we played on the 1.2 patch so we could use TQA 1.5.

Me too.
I never hear of this game until this thread and got the gold edition (both games) for $20 from Amazon.
I am having a great time.
I do have a question though: Does it matter how many times you die?
The reason I ask is that on one boss they only way I could beat her was to die then run back hurt her more, die, run back... etc until she was no longer guarding the olive branch.

Technically, since you're losing xp on each death, you're making it harder for you to level, though I don't believe you can actually lose a level from dying. So if you had leveled recently, I wouldn't worry. Also grabbing your tombstone before you die will get most of it back.

It was the spider lady? What setup are you trying out?

I dont know my exact setup, but I am dual wielding - skills are in weapon mastery and nature.
