Thanks for those links Bone.

I'll probably try getting a a PC Engine Duo if I can find one for a good price, otherwise I may just get a vanilla one and buy the CD addon later.
My guess would be either it or the Model 3 Genesis. I haven't seen a PC-Engine in real life, though.

Oh, another quick question: how hard is it to find compatible power supplies, cables, etc and do any of the models support s-video or RGB out of the box?

You can also burn CD-Rs of the CD games with relative ease.

Just so you know, ebay seller hit-japan always has PC Engine Duos in stock. That's where I got mine. I order from the seller frequently, everything is always in fantastic shape. You would have to pay shipping from Japan though.

Here's one example:

Yes, about the same. Stack 4 CD cases and that's about the size of a PC Engine/Core Grafx.

It's not too hard to find proper cables, the power supplies can be easily substituted and AV cables are readily available. No stock PC Engine or TG-16 variant has S-video or RGB, you have to mod your system to get any of those outputs. The S-video mod is insanely easy but the RGB mod requires that you build an amplifier circuit and get a special cable in addition to mounting a new connector.

I implore you to give up your crack habit sir. It isn't good for one's health.

If you want to get really picky, 3 regular and a thincase high which accounts for the domed bump on top.

Haha, I wondered if anyone would recognize or look up the codes for fun. Yes, you could say I'm a bit of a Scorn fan.
