Hi everyone,
I just want some opinions on weather I should get the 2k1 series of all sports world series, nfl, nhl, nba or just get 2k2 series. Which football, basketball and baseball was better?
I will get ncaa 2k2 and nhl 2k2 but other than that I cant decide for nba, world series, or nfl 2k1 or 2k2 series.

My recommendation would be to get them all. They're cheap and you can never have too many sports titles.

NFL 2K2 is definitely the best of the NFL 2K series. Presentation and graphics are perfect.

Re: Questions on Dreamcast sports titles
World Series 2k2 is considerably better than 2k1. 2k1 was one of the rare instances where a 2K sports title kind of whiffed in its first release.
Both the NBA and NHL series hit high notes in their 2k2 versions - and NHL did despite being one of the last domestic releases.
The NFL 2K series was always great, 9+ type scores. You can't go wrong with any of them.
Don't sleep on the Virtua Tennis/Tennis 2k2 series either. Both are tremendous.

Do you have any local Game Trader or other retro stores around you? Dreamcast sports titles are typically $3-$4 and none of them are rare per se.mas wrote:I just went on ebay for nfl 2k2 people want 10.00 and up for the game complete. I will wait for a week or so.

Yup! Got both of those too. I remember seeing Virtua Tennis for the first time in an arcade, it was in a special NAOMI flat screen cabinet, I thought it was tennis on TV for a minute. Yeah, it looked that good.
2K2 also has a great tour mode and player creation feature.
I got NHL 2K, NBA 2K1, and NFL 2K and 2K2 in an Ebay lot years ago. Might have to fill in those gaps I'm missing -- for what the DC had, they had great sports titles.
