Ahem. Uhh...
Why do I get along better with Australians than people from New York? Odd how that country is more similar to my state than another area of my country.

I'm still suprised. I wouldn't think the enviroment would keep things that similar. As an Australian friend of mine put it, Texas is Australia right side up and without kangaroos.BoringSupreez wrote:The Outback is a lot more like the American Southwest than NYC, or even rural New York.Forlorn Drifter wrote:*Reads replies to my thoughts on the Polan joke*

Well, both are part of countries which are predominately white English-speaking former colonies of Britain, so there's a bit of a connection.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I'm still suprised. I've been doing homework since 9:00 AM.
Still doing homework. I have one more essay to write! Four projects assigned on the same day, due on the same day. I ended up skipping school to do homework.
Not cool.

I'm curious, what happened to the occupy movement? I haven't heard anything from them in a while.

I've been so focused on buying a watch that I keep forgetting I'm over 3 months overdue for a phone upgrade... Anyone on Sprint? The Galaxy Nexus seemed like the phone to beat last I checked.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I'm on sprint actually the best now is the galaxy S 2. Unless you want an iphone but why would you want one of those? I have an s2 it's really a great phone. The evo is also pretty good and I'm sure cheaper but the battery life sucks and it seems to be a pain in ass battery wise since it doesn't have a task manager or a simple way to uninstall apps. Oh another good thing about this s2 is you are outside during the day a lot you can change the brightness by holding the info bar at the top of the screen.sabrage wrote:I've been so focused on buying a watch that I keep forgetting I'm over 3 months overdue for a phone upgrade... Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I have big hands, I would never get an iPhone. Does Sprint have a nice phone with a slide-out keyboard? I wasn't too impressed by the Droid series.
