basically the same thing, but i prefer Turbo for SNES.

Plus Gradius/Nemesis and the Galactice Attack one, that's a lot of shooters so far!

basically the same thing, but i prefer Turbo for SNES.

The SNES one is slower and the controller isn't as good. Why would someone prefer this version? Graphics might be slightly better on the SNES and the digitized voices are better, but I'll take a better controller over that any day.

Aero Blasters was the US name, but was the game also released in the US as Air Busters? (err, I think its the other way around xD)

Also, Gradius is different from Nemesis is it not? I mean, there are definitely more differences than most ports.

Was Super Bonk mentioned, and is it the same as one of the Bonk games? ? Or how about Bomberman '94 to Mega Bomberman or whatever that one was called. Not sure if bomberman '94 was released here.

I would not count Puzzle Bobble, since that is a region difference, even if you did see them here. US MVS carts are "Bust a Move", and the JP MVS is "Puzzle Bobble"

Released as Puzzle Bobble 2 in other territories, but in the US we got a totally different, reprogrammed game, this was released on Taito F3 System:

That's all well and good, (and would deem it off-topic) but then Taito (with SNK) goes and releases it again (no pun intended) on the Neo Geo as BUST A MOVE AGAIN in 1999. However, the US version resembles the original Puzzle Bobble 2 with the correct graphics.

So that qualifies. We got 2 versions of Bust A Move Again in the arcades, on 2 different platforms, with slightly different graphics.

But, oh, if the story ended here. The Saturn port was released as -



Bust A Move 2, and it's the "Arcade" edition as Bust A Move Again with the US graphics.

Finally, if you're lucky (or unlucky enough) to get the PS2 version of Taito Legends 2, you get Bust A Move Again, but it's the US revision! XBOX and PC TL2 ports have Puzzle Bobble 2 in its original presentation.

Your example is valid, I was reffering to just Bust a Move = Puzzle Bobble, if we are not going by region.

Air Buster was the version released here right? Was it also released here as Aero Blasters in the US?

Aero Fighters also would not count, as it is a region difference.

7 minutes came from the time you pointed out Puzzle Bobble/Bust A Move (also known as BUBBLE BUSTER for a time) to my original post.

I edited the last one I did. I saw Aero Fighters and not Aero Busters. I can't read.

That Wonder Boy series example always throws me for a fit too.
