I was checking how much a new PS2 would cost, Did you guys see the prices?
they cost as much as 360. Most of them are at $200 or so. I dunno , but last I heard Sony were still making them.

Why so much increase in the price? Its not like a rare item

I am not int he US but I buy from US stores

I checked amazon yesterday it was $200 , today its $99 I am not sure whats going on here.

though a lot of obeyers are listing them for $150-180

100 buck new. Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, etc..........

Target got rid of there PS2's (Console) since last year. Put then on the clearancce rack and got me a few at $50 a pop

I hit up Best Buys on weekly basis, haven't seen PS2 units in while now.

But I have seen them in stock at Wal-Mart, that's for sure! Go there.

I have seen them on clearance at my local Best Buy in Beavercreek Ohio. They are currently $89. Once they get cut down to maybe $50 I would like to buy one just to keep as a collector's item in the box. Several years back (maybe 2004 or 2005) I found two brand new PSone consoles at Sears red tagged. The price? $10.....

while we r on the playstation topic, how much should I expect to pay for a decent psx that will last(decent condition not 1 where some1 played the hell out of it)

and anyone know where and for how much I can get a modded ps2 better be new?

its mostly the fat ps2's new that sell for a lot since they have been discontinued alot longer ago.. they get big bucks.
