Alright, allow me to introduce everyone to a project that I’ve been kicking around for over two years now. The Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys English dub project on the TurboGrafx-CD!
As most of you already know NightWolve in 2004 released an English patch for all the in-game text for YsIV. However all of the game’s cut scenes remained voiced in Japanese. There have been several attempts to create a fan-dub for Ys IV’s cut scenes but none of them were ever finished. Ys IV has been waiting 8 years for a proper dub and I know I have the skills and determination to finally give it one. NightWolve is also supporting this project and plans on integrating the dub into a new release of the English patch when the project is completed.
